It's that time of year again where we start to get the word out about Light the Fire 2018 on June 27th at Misericordia University!
We are so excited to be welcoming in Cooper Ray as our keynote speaker. Over the past 20 years, Cooper has motivated and inspired youth and adults at countless diocesan, parish, and school events across the country and has spoken and led worship at the National Catholic Youth Conference, the National Conference on Catholic Youth Ministry, Catholic Heart Work Camp and Steubenville Youth Conferences, to name a few. His relevant message and crowd interaction can reach a teen all the way in the back row.
Will Smith is returning as our emcee for the event. We received countless praises about his humor and engagement with last year's attendees.
Full Armor Band will once again be leading us in song and worship throughout the day.
Joining us as always for closing Mass is Bishop Bambera.
The program is targeted at high school-aged kids, but they will allow mature 8th graders, so our 7th and 8th graders now will be eligible for the 2018 Light the Fire.
Lynne Binner has again agreed to be the coordinator for our parishes. You can contact her via email at pbinner@epix.net or by phone (number in bulletin). Our parishes will pay the registration fee for those who register by the end of May.
